When people look back at this era 100 years from now, the meteoric rise of NYC-bred-and-based streetwear brand Supreme will be marked by its collaboration with luxury brand Louis Vuitton. The moment that James Jebbia’s brainchild could no longer be considered a nuanced movement only privy downtown NYC denizens knew about. Supreme officially became mainstream, and it did so in style by created a co-branded collection of apparel, footwear, and accessories featuring LV’s famed monogram print and their revered “Box Logo.” The release was tactical, with pop-up shops appearing in Beijing, London, Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, Seoul, Sydney, and Tokyo. Needless to say that streetwear and high fashion enthusiasts alike clamored for their opportunity to own a piece from the widely heralded collection. In regards to apparel, the highlights are a tee and hoodie featuring the aforementioned “Box Logo,” a string of denim items including a bomber jacket, chore coat, overalls, and parka, and camouflage goods of a similar variety. The luxe component of the collection are LV’s coveted leather-bound chests, wallets, bags, and iPhone cases (the most popular being the Supreme-branded duffle and book bag). Other accessories include a camo 5-panal cap, multiple scarves, gloves in brown monogram and vibrant red options, and sunglasses. Of course, Supreme included some miscellaneous goods that we didn’t know we needed, ranging from a bottle opener to dice to a Swiss army to a cozy pillow. The results were ground shaking, given the rarity of the product. Lucky for you guys, Stadium Goods has your back, as we provide a curated assortment of goods from the Supreme x Louis Vuitton SS ’17 collection.
