These are 10 of the best sneakers from the Stadium Goods Holiday '23 Gift Guide for Men.

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Phantom”

Released at the very end of 2022 but still just as relevant almost a year later, the “Black Phantom” Air Jordan 1 Low OG by Travis Scott showcases the Houston native’s dexterity as a designer. The colorway opts for a muted black nubuck upper with white contrast stitching throughout, a switch-up from the look of his earlier Jordan 1 collaborations.

Nike Air Force 1 Low “White on White”

What hasn’t been said about the Nike Air Force 1 Low “White on White?” Endlessly versatile, the all-white Air Force 1 Low is the shoe you build your entire sneaker collection around, and the shoe you reach for when you want to look stylish every time you step out of the house. If you’re having trouble deciding what to give the sneaker collector on your holiday shopping list, you can never go wrong with these.

Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy 2023”

Year in and year out, Jordan Brand continues to bring back popular sneakers from the past to great success, and that was no different in 2023. Earlier this year, the Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” became one of the latest old school shoes to return in the present day. The modern “Burgundy” Jordan 5 features the same style points as the original colorway that debuted in 2006—and that’s a great thing.

Notre x Salomon XT-4 OG “Grass Stained”

Chicago-based retailer Notre is a well-known name in the streetwear and lifestyle scene and, in recent years, has been making inroads in sneakers, too. The collective worked with Vans a few years ago, and recently teamed up with Salomon to create a “Grass Stained” colorway of the XT-4 OG model as a nod to the way sneakers look after they’ve been, you guessed it, stained with grass from mowing the lawn. Count this as another creative sneaker collaboration for Notre.

New Balance 1906R “Burgundy/Black”

The New Balance 1906R debuted in 2010, but has been enjoying its greatest success as a shoe in the present day thanks to its inclusion in the popular Y2K trend in sneakers. There are a handful of really great colorways of the models to choose from, but we’re particularly fond of the “Burgundy/Black” edition.

Air Jordan 4 “Red Cement”

For every new Air Jordan collaboration or alternative version of a classic model, Jordan Brand has been releasing original-inspired colorways like the Air Jordan 4 “Red Cement.” While not an original colorway of the Jordan 4, the “Red Cement” looks the part. The colorway’s speckled “wings,” heel counter, and mudguard are all directly inspired by the detailing found on the legendary Air Jordan 4 “White Cement.”

A-COLD-WALL* x Nike Air Max Plus “Platinum Tint”

“Rules” are becoming fewer and farther between in sneakers, meaning there’s nothing stopping you from wearing all-white shoes in the middle of winter… or spring or fall, or when it’s raining or when… you get it. Anyway, no one knows this better than A-COLD-WALL* founder and lead designer Samuel Ross, who cooked up a stylish off-white colorway of the Nike Air Max Plus in “Platinum Tint.” And if you’re still not convinced to wear (or gift) a white sneaker in the winter, there’s a black colorway, too.

Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6 “Lapis Lazuli”

Earlier this year, to help introduce the New Balance 990v6 to the masses, New Balance collaborated with Action Bronson on a “Lapis Lazuli” colorway of the model. To say that the release was a great success would be a massive understatement—Action’s New Balance 990v6 has been showing up on every sneaker blog’s year-end list for the best sneakers of 2023.

Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lost & Found”

If you’ve ever wondered what an original Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” would look like if you found it in the basement of a mom and pop sneaker shop years after it released, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lost & Found” is the sneaker for you. The colorway features aged design elements inspired by the original “Chicago” colorway from 1985. And you can never go wrong with gifting the iconic “Chicago” Air Jordan 1 to a sneaker fan.

Kith x ASICS GT-2160 “Scarab”

Kith is no stranger to ASICS, having collaborated with the Japanese shoe brand on many occasions over the years. That may be why Ronnie Fieg’s sneaker and streetwear store was treated to a shop-exclusive release of the ASICS GT-2160 over the summer called the “Scarab.” The colorway has since become one of the most desirable looks for the techy running and lifestyle shoe.
