We celebrate NBA All-Star Weekend 2023 with a selection of the game’s brightest sneaker stars including Luka Doncic, LaMelo Ball and more.

The NBA All-Star Game is a chance to celebrate the very best basketball players in the world. And ever since Michael Jordan began debuting new Air Jordans at the event, the annual exhibition game is a chance to celebrate the player’s signature shoes, too.

Some of the most iconic sneakers in the history of the culture have been featured prominently at NBA All-Star Weekend, including favorites like the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement,” the Nike KD 4 “Galaxy,” and more. At this point, the All-Star Weekend festivities are as much about watching basketball’s greatest players ball out as it is about seeing dope sneakers.

With a new crop of rising stars set to play in this year’s All-Star Game, all eyes will be on who will be wearing what shoes. That’s because in the last year, Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson, Jayson Tatum, and others have all debuted new signature models and colorways, so there should be plenty to be excited about come this weekend.

To help give you a better idea of what we’re talking about, we’re taking a look at some of the best new signature shoes and colorways of today’s best basketball players.

Jordan Luka 1 “Neo Turquoise”

It took a few years, but Luka Doncic’s debut signature shoe is finally here. The Jordan Luka 1 “Neo Turquoise” is one of the first colorways of the flashy superstar’s first signature model, and it’s as smooth as Luka’s handle on the court. Specifically, the colorway celebrates Luka’s time with Real Madrid, the Spanish professional basketball team that he played for before joining the Dallas Mavericks.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “Nike Hoops - Luka Doncic”

Before debuting his first signature shoe, Luka Doncic was hooked up with a sweet colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid from the “Nike Hoops” collection. The style draws inspiration from Luka’s personal journey toward peace and tranquility, as slogans like “Breathe & Center” and “Center & Breathe” are found on its design.

Air Jordan 34 PE “Jayson Tatum”

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Jayson Tatum, one of the flashiest players in the NBA, also owns one of the flashiest signature colorways. His Air Jordan 34 PE features various animal-inspired patterns for a look that is as eye-catching as the talented Boston Celtic’s play on the hardwood.

Zion Williamson x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Voodoo”

Not only does Zion Williamson have his own signature shoe with Jordan Brand, but the New Orleans Pelicans’ star also has his own signature colorway of one of the greatest sneakers of all time: the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Released in November 2022, the “Voodoo” Jordan 1 Low OG puts a New Orleans spin on the classic silhouette while honoring Zion’s time in the Big Easy.

Air Jordan 34 PE “Zion Williamson - Bayou Boys”

Before Zion Williamson’s debut signature shoe with Jordan Brand was put into production, the Pelicans’ star wore this Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 34 during his rookie season. Dubbed the “Bayou Boys,” the shoe is no doubt inspired by New Orleans and Zion’s bruising playing style.

Puma MB.02 “Nickelodeon Slime”

LaMelo Ball just might have the most exciting new signature shoe line in basketball. The Charlotte Hornets star’s Puma MB.02 “Nickelodeon Slime” can attest to that statement, as the vibrant colorway is among the most popular hoops sneakers to release in a minute. There was similar hype to LaMelo’s collaboration with Rick & Morty on the Puma MB.01, as well.

Puma MB.01 “Be You”

Another eye-catching Puma MB shoe is LaMelo’s Puma MB.01 “Be You,” a “What the” style colorway that combines several of the basketball star’s other popular signature colorways into one cohesive design.
