The biggest stars in entertainment have joined Joe La Puma on Sneaker Shopping with Complex at Stadium Goods.

But only one can lay claim to having sold out the United Center in Chicago on mere speculation of their appearance like the show’s latest guest: All Elite Wrestling’s CM Punk.

Excuse the hyperbole, but the crowd’s insane reaction to Punk’s surprise appearance at AEW Rampage: The First Dance, back in August may have even surpassed Chicagoans response to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls winning the NBA Finals in the same building in 1996.

Yeah, it was a moment.

As for Punk’s time at 47 Howard Street on the celebrity interview show, “The Best in the World” spoke at length about what it was like watching Michael play at Chicago Stadium in the ‘80s and ‘90s, his appreciation for sneaker culture and how it compares to comic book culture, why basketball players like LeBron James inspired him to write on his sneakers, and more.
