Perfect Matchup: Stadium Goods Socks and Sneaker Pairings in NBA Team Colors

In celebration of the 2021-22 NBA season tipping off this week, we present 7 perfect matchups of sneakers with our own Crew Socks to rep your favorite squads.

Matt DeSciora

At last, the 2021-2022 NBA season is upon us.

With the beginning of a new season comes many questions: will a re-loaded Los Angeles Lakers club led by a new Big Three of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook, oust the Chris Paul-led Phoenix Suns in the West? Will Kyrie Irving play for the Brooklyn Nets or Ben Simmons for the Philadelphia 76ers?

Better yet, who’s hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy in June?

Time will tell, but until then, here’s what we do know: you can represent your favorite NBA team by wearing Stadium Goods Crew Socks in an assortment of matching colorways. All of which, might we add, go hand-in-hand with the latest and greatest releases from Nike and Jordan Brand.

To help give you an idea of what we’re talking about, we paired some of our favorite colorways with sneakers you should own in your closet right now. But really, it’s up to you on how to style any of these basketball colorways of our Stadium Goods Crew Socks.

Stadium Goods Crew Socks ā€œChicagoā€ + Air Jordan 4 ā€œFire Redā€

Again, take your pick when it comes to matching our Stadium Goods Crew Socks in the ā€œChicagoā€ colorway with any number of iconic white-and-red or black-and-red Air Jordans. We think the Air Jordan 4 ā€œFire Redā€ looks exceptionally clean against the fiery red ā€œChicagoā€ sock.

Stadium Goods Crew Socks ā€œCream Cityā€ + Undefeated x Nike Kobe 4 Protro ā€œMilwaukee Bucksā€

The defending NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks are the toast of the league, so you know we had to show them some love with our Stadium Goods Crew Socks in ā€œCream City.ā€ We suggest matching the socks with the Undefeated x Nike Kobe 4 Protro ā€œMilwaukee Bucksā€ or if you want to get funky, Ray Allen’s old school Air Jordan 7.

Stadium Goods Crew Socks ā€œFab 5ā€ + Nike Dunk High ā€œMichiganā€

We know what you’re thinking, but hold up. Let us explain. There’s a Michigan vibe going on here, no doubt, but c’mon, blue-and-yellow also happens to be the team uniform colors of the Indiana Pacers. In fact, we kinda made our Stadium Goods Crew Socks in ā€œFab 5ā€ not for the Wolverines, but for our own Content Manager, Zack Schlemmer, the biggest Pacers fan in Brooklyn.

Stadium Goods Crew Socks ā€œPirate Blackā€ + Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 High OG

Doubling as a tribute to the Brooklyn Nets or San Antonio Spurs—or Las Vegas Raiders, anyone?—our Stadium Goods Crew Socks in ā€œPirate Blackā€ are the perfect match to Aleali May’s collaborative Air Jordan 1 High.

Stadium Goods Crew Socks ā€œLakersā€ + Air Jordan 1 High OG ā€œCourt Purpleā€

There seems to be an abundance of purple Air Jordan colorways since Vashtie Kola put her ā€œVioletteā€ spin on the Air Jordan 2 over a decade ago, so you’ll have plenty of options in the footwear department when it comes to repping the Los Angeles Lakers with our Stadium Goods Crew Socks in the ā€œLakersā€ colorway. We chose the Air Jordan 1 High OG ā€œCourt Purple,ā€ but the world is your oyster.

Stadium Goods Crew Socks ā€œBredā€ + Air Jordan 4 ā€œBredā€

Some of you may be a little young to remember this but, back in the day, the Portland Trail Blazers actually passed on Michael Jordan in favor of Sam Bowie. Who? Yeah. Anyway, even if Portland selected Mike and paired him with Clyde Drexler on the wing, we still still would’ve gotten Air Jordans in black, white, and red, because, like the Bulls, those are the Trail Blazers’ team uniform colors. So with that, wear our Stadium Goods Crew Socks in ā€œBredā€ with the Air Jordan 4, also in ā€œBred,ā€ if you rep for Dame Lillard and co.

Stadium Goods Crew Socks ā€œBay Redā€ + Nike Air Max 97 ā€œMetallic Goldā€

Any Cleveland Cavaliers fans in the house? We didn’t forget about the up-and-coming squad led by Collin Sexton when we designed our Stadium Goods Crew Socks in the ā€œBay Redā€ vibe.
