The Best Nike Dunks Under $250

Shop the best Dunks you can rock for less.

Matt DeSciora

It’s been three years since the Nike Dunk came back into the public consciousness via collaborations with the likes of Travis Scott and Ben & Jerry’s, and it’s safe to say that the shoe isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Today, the Dunk is beloved by the sneaker community because of how versatile it is (think the “Panda” colorway), its legacy (think the “Be True to Your School” collection) and its value proposition. It’s true. For $250 or less, you can catch the Dunk in a variety of different colors ranging from subdued to bold, and everything in between.

While hyped collaborations with music artists and ice cream brands helped put the Dunk on, what really keeps the shoe on everyone’s radar are the colorways that can be worn on a daily basis that won’t break the bank. In other words, the Dunks we’re about to feature in today’s post.

These are some of our favorite Nike Dunks priced at $250 or less.

Women’s Nike Dunk Low “Rose Whisper”

Historically, some of the most popular Nike Dunk colorways have been those in a two-tone color block. If you ask us, the women’s-exclusive “Rose Whisper” isn’t doing anything to dispel the notion, as the colorway is about as clean as any Dunk we’ve ever seen.

Nike Dunk High “Game Royal”

It doesn’t get more iconic for the Nike Dunk than the “Game Royal,” otherwise known as the “Kentucky” colorway from 1985’s “Be True to Your School” pack. The white-and-blue design was once the team shoe of the Kentucky Wildcats college basketball team and is now a fan favorite for its less-is-more appearance.

Nike Dunk Low “UCLA”

The UCLA Bruins weren’t sponsored by Nike when the brand released its legendary collection of “Be True to Your School” Dunks back in the day. But that didn’t stop The Swoosh from honoring the West Coast school with a super clean “UCLA” colorway in 2022.

Nike Dunk High “Black/White”

We’re not sure why the “Panda” Dunk Low gets all the love, because we think this high-top version is just as nice.

Women’s Nike Dunk Low “Light Iron Ore”

There isn’t a closet in the world that doesn’t have room for a versatile shoe like the Women’s Nike Dunk Low “Light Iron Ore.” Extra style points for the glossy patent leather finish.

Nike Dunk High Premium “Teal Suede”

No two Dunks are the same. Case in point being the “Teal Suede,” which utilizes a pretty sweet combination of leather and suede in navy and teal on its design. A nice switch-up from the Dunk’s usual all-leather look.

Women’s Nike Dunk Low “Terry Swoosh”

See? We really mean it—no two Dunks are the same. Here, the Women’s Nike Dunk Low “Terry Swoosh” comes with a terry cloth Swoosh in a Mars Stone (dark red) hue that brings a completely unique look to the shoe.

Nike Dunk Low “Miami Hurricanes”

Another Dunk with a college basketball inspired look that doesn’t get enough love is the “Miami Hurricanes” colorway, which, as you can see, features the school’s green and orange uniform colors on its panels. Even without any official “U” branding, the “Miami Hurricanes” Dunk Low is a head-turner.

Nike Dunk Low “Setsubun”

Japan’s celebration of the first day of spring inspired the Nike Dunk Low “Setsubun.” The event, which is designed to rid you of bad fortune and spirits of the previous year, is also referred to as the “Bean-Throwing Festival,” and is celebrated on the “Setsubun” Dunk.
