The Nike LeBron 16 “King” was one of the debut colorways of LeBron James's sixteenth signature shoe. Nike gave the “King” colorway its nickname, and the basketball shoe's construction is done in regal dark red Flyknit. The faux leopard fur on the heels and metallic gold accents were inspired by the African meaning of James’s name, as well as an early Nike campaign from 2003. Fifteen years later, the Nike LeBron line was still dominating the basketball shoe market thanks to amazing releases like this. The Nike LeBron 16 “King” released in October 2018.
