“MCA - Sample”

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA Sample” is an unreleased Air Force 1 Low colorway created and teased by Virgil Abloh at Paris Fashion Week in 2020. For this model, Abloh incorporates the same blue hue used by Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art on its Air Force 1 collaboration with Off-White and Nike from 2019. The previously mentioned shade of blue appears on the leather upper, including the perforated toe, mid-panel, and heel. Metallic silver Swooshes with black outline stitching are located on the mid-panel. The white leather heel tab with tonal “Nike Air” and Swoosh detailing is contrasted by vertical blue stitching for a deconstructed aesthetic. A staggered lacing system overlaps a traditional lace set up. Whereas 2019’s Air Force 1 “MCA” features a tonal blue sole, this design displays a black rubber sole with white “Air” branding on the heel.
