The Nike Air Max 90 ID “255 Studios” is an exclusive colorway created by the employees at Nike’s former New York City design studio located on 255 Elizabeth Street in downtown Manhattan. The upper features vibrant Infrared patent leather across the Swoosh and around the mudguard. A black laser print appears on the toe and eyelets with black mesh material covering the toe and ankle collar. The sockliner features a white pattern inspired by Nike’s “Evolution of Air.” Branding includes Nike Air appearing in white on the tongue tab along with Air Max in red on the mid-panel and Nike Air on the heel plate. Rounding out the look is a bright red midsole, a clear visible Max Air unit in the heel, and black and red outsole. The Nike Air Max 90 ID “255 Studios” released in-store only at Nike’s iD Studio in New York City in 2006 with 90 pairs said to be in existence.
