The Sabotage x Mr. SK x Nike Dunk “Royale Rat Pack” is a highly-limited Nike SB Dunk Low that celebrates the 2008 Chinese New Year by referencing that year’s zodiac animal, the rat. Seen here is the stealthy black-based design of the “Royale Rat Pack,” with the other pair in the pack featuring a more lively multi-color motif. With the number “8” being considered lucky and signaling “wealth” in traditional Chinese culture, 18 pairs in total of the “Royale Rat Pack” were released, 9 pairs accounting for each model. In true Sabotage style, the upper applies a subtle military vibe as a black desert camo print appears baked into the black leather overlays on the forefoot. A rat skeleton motif covers the laces on an added patch for a special custom detail. Chinese and Arabic characters in teal contrast the upper and appear on the lateral panel and forefoot with further contrasting efforts coming in the form of metallic teal Swooshes and heel tabs. A white rubber sole with teal stitching around the sneaker put the finishing touches on the scarce collaboration. The Sabotage x Mr. SK x Nike Dunk “Royale Rat Pack” was released on February 7th, 2008.
