Kobe Bryant may have retired from the NBA in 2016, but Nike has continued to keep his signature line alive with yearly installments ever since. The Nike Kobe A.D. was the first post-retirement model and marked the Black Mamba's 12th signature sneaker with the brand. It featured a mesh upper, Flywire underlays, a Lunarlon midsole, and Zoom Air cushioning in the heel. Details include large Swooshes on each side panel, Kobe logos on each tongue, a DNA graphic on the left heel, and Kobe's signature stitched on the right. This particular Kobe A.D. sports a University Red upper with Total Crimson detailing. A metallic red heel counter provides some additional pop to the design as well.
