The Nike SB Air Force 2 Low, seen here in black, white, and Habanero Red, originated as a performance basketball design and has since gone on to be adopted by the skating community. After debuting in 1986 as a high-top worn by the likes of Charles Barkley during his days with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Air Force 2 Low became more well-known and appreciated by skaters who preferred the silhouette's chunky, durable construction, which could withstand the rigors of the demanding sport. This particular design comes complete with a crisp perforated white leather mid-panel and toe with black suede overlays throughout the upper. A black leather Swoosh on the mid-panel, Nike SB Air Force 2 branding on the tongue, and Nike branding on the black plastic heel cup with fiery-hot Habanero Red accenting on the collar add classic styling cues to the model. Finishing touches include a white rubber midsole and black outsole.
