The Nike Little Foamposite One TD "Eggplant" is the toddler version of the re-release of the colorway of the retro basketball shoe that debuted in 2009. The Air Foamposite One was worn by Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway in the NBA in 1997 and then was brought back as a lifestyle shoe in the mid-to-late 2000s. The “Eggplant” colorway was released by Nike in 2009 and was one of the retro basketball sneaker’s most sought after designs back in the day. Here, the contemporary version is a one-to-one remake of the original style. The shoe’s molded Foamposite shell is designed in a deep purple hue called Eggplant due to its resemblance to the color of the vegetable. Black synthetic nubuck overlays contrast the look. Hardaway’s signature “1-Cent” branding appears on the heel and tongue. An icy blue translucent rubber outsole completes the look. Release date: February 29, 2024 Eggplant
