The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Oklahoma Sooners PE” is a limited edition, unreleased colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe given to members of the Oklahoma Sooners football team. Along with the Florida Gators and Michigan Wolverines, the Sooners were one of several schools sponsored by Jordan Brand to receive premium renditions of the iconic Air Jordan 1 in 2020. Inspired by the model original “Bred Toe” colorway, the “Sooners” Player Exclusive edition features a contrasting black faux reptilian textured leather forefoot panel and Team Crimson stingray perforated toe. The eyelets and collar are also constructed in the black reptilian leather. Jordan Brand designs the stingray textured collar overlay, heel, and Swoosh in Team Crimson. Dual Oklahoma and “Nike Air” branding appears on the left and right tongue tags, respectively. Black waxed laces are layered over the black nylon tongue.
