Released in 2009, the Air Jordan 12 “Rising Sun” is an underrated classic. Tinker Hatfield was inspired by Japan's Rising Sun Flag when he originally created the Air Jordan 12, and the alternating perforated and solid sections on this colorway's white leather upper highlight the flag's rays. This model flew under the radar when it first came out and has never been re-released, which is why Jordan collectors hold it in such high regard today.
