The Nike SB Air Trainer 1 “Chlorophyll” is an original colorway of the early ‘90s cross-trainer that has been repackaged under the Nike SB umbrella for 2020. The Air Trainer 1 debuted as a multisport performance shoe and was quickly picked up by skateboarders who appreciated the model's grippy outsole and durable construction. While the “Chlorophyll” design hasn’t been seen on the Air Trainer 1 since the 2000s, it did appear as a colorway on the Air Jordan 3 in 2018. As for this shoe, the upper features supple Medium Grey suede overlays—as opposed to the original's grey nubuck panels—across the upper. A perforated white leather toe and smooth white leather collar form the base of the upper. Both the forefoot overlay underneath the midfoot strap and Swoosh detailing on the mid-panel display a black suede construction. Classic Nike SB branding appears on the tongue tag. Lime Green “Nike” insignia dots the adjustable midfoot strap and “Nike Air” embroidery in the same shade of green is stitched onto the back of the shoe. Release date: October 3, 2020. Chlorophyll
