The Nike SB Dunk High “Pee-Wee Herman” is a design that originates from 2007’s “Fallen Heroes” collection dedicated to the ill-fated careers of once-popular ‘90s stars. Along with the “Milli Vanilli” and “MC Hammer,” the “Pee-Wee Herman” SB Dunk High is one of the more creative colorways of its era and a stark reminder of pressures of fame. The grey suede upper and leather perforated toe as well as the red Nike SB tongue tag are designed to mimic Pee-Wee’s suit and red bowtie, respectively. A tonal leather Swoosh can be found on either side and white “fat” laces appear over the tonal mesh tongue. The white rubber midsole and black outsole retain the shoe’s minimal aesthetic.
