We present the most ghoulish sneaker colorways for everybody’s favorite fall holiday. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Dressing up for Halloween can be both fun and intimidating. On one hand, you get to step “out of character” and dress up as someone or something you’re not and no one will bat an eye—mostly. On the other hand, deciding what costume to wear is a daunting task. The possibilities are endless!
We’ll leave any sartorial choices up to you, but we can make a few suggestions as to which sneakers we think match perfectly with your spookiest costume. Brands like Nike, Jordan, and more, are in an arms race to see who can create the most whimsical sneaker colorway and, as always, you, the sneaker collector, are the beneficiary.
These are some of the best “Halloween” themed sneakers available now at Stadium Goods.
The newest entrant into the wacky world of “Halloween” Nike SB Dunks is one of the most creative yet: the “Mummy” colorway. Details include a frayed, tear-away upper, and embroidered eyes on the heel. Spooky!
The Superstar is one of the most iconic sneakers of all time. You’ve seen it a thousand times. But never this spooky! The classic model got scary for Halloween 2021 with this special edition featuring a blacked-out textile upper with plaid detailing, a fuzzy green inner lining, spider web pattern texture on the tongue, and a glow in the dark shelltoe and outsole. It’s all topped off with jack-o-lantern lace dubraes.
Nike SB Dunk Low “Night of Mischief”
A whimsical “trick or treat” concept showcases the creativity of Nike SB on this “Night of Mischief” Dunk. Far from the first “Halloween” SB Dunk, other styles include the rare “Freddy Kruger” and “Jason Voorhees” colorways, both of which are iconic.
Nike Air Force 1 Low “Skeleton”
Released in consecutive years, the three Nike Air Force 1 Lows in the “Skeleton” series feature glow-in-the-dark detailing, and other “Halloween” centric elements. This year came the purple variation of the theme. Which one are you feeling the most?
Historically, the Nike Air Max 97 isn’t as well served in the “creative” department as say, the Nike SB Dunk or Nike Air Force 1, but that doesn’t mean the ‘90s runner is not without its own “Halloween” colorway. The “Slime” from Halloween 2020 features a drippy green graphic that brings to mind Nickelodeon’s slimy green goo that was all over television back in the day.
Off-White x Nike Blazer Mid “Grim Reaper” & “All Hallow’s Eve”
Is Virgil Abloh’s favorite holiday Halloween? It might be: the fashion designer created not one, but two colorways of his Off-White x Nike Blazer Mid in dedication of the holiday as part of “The 10.”
Nike Air Max 95 “Freddy Krueger”
The cousin to the Nike SB Dunk Low “Freddy Kruger,” the Nike Air Max 95 of the same nickname has something that shoe doesn’t: an official release date. Because of clearance issues, the sought-after, hard-to-find “Freddy Kruger” Dunk never hit sneaker store shelves, but the Air Max 95 did, and it’s a pretty great consolation prize.
Women’s Air Jordan 1 Mid “Orange/Black”
This Jordan 1 Mid isn’t an official Halloween-celebrating release, but who can say the black and orange color combo isn’t perfect for the holiday? Well, you could say that, but you’d be wrong.
Nike Dunk Low “Halloween 2022”
Not to get too real right now, but nothing has been scarier in recent years than the global pandemic. Not only did it take a toll on all of us physically and mentally, it also royally screwed up supply chains for many industries, including sneakers. For example, this Dunk Low was originally supposed to drop for Halloween 2021, but the release was delayed until April 2022. A Halloween sneaker in April? Weird, yes, but better late than never!
Nike Air Force 1 Low “Halloween”
Few things are certain in life, except for maybe death, taxes, and a new “Halloween” collection by Nike every year. For 2023, Nike cooked up a fresh new batch of spooky colorways for Halloween, the most attention-seeking of the bunch being this Nike Air Force 1 Low “Halloween” colorway with snakeskin-inspired overlays and a metal jack-o-lantern lace accessory on each shoe.
