A look at eight great all-red Air Jordans, featuring the new “Toro Bravo” Air Jordan 6.

Michael Jordan’s days with the Chicago Bulls may have been a distant memory by the late 2000s, but Jordan Brand did its part in keeping MJ’s championship-winning years with the Bulls fresh on sneaker collector’s minds with plenty of Bulls-red Air Jordan colorways beginning in 2009.
That year, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 5 “Raging Bull,” an all-red, all-suede colorway that instantly became one of the most popular non-original Jordan 5s in the sneaker’s history. From there, things only became more interesting as Jordan Brand began leaning into the all-red look on other iconic Jordan models.
Over the years, shoes like the Air Jordan 11 “Win Like ‘96” and the Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” have joined the “Raging Bull” in celebrating Jordan’s championship-winning years with the Bulls with an all-red design. Now, the Air Jordan 6 “Toro Bravo” that’s set to be released on June 24th will be the latest all-red Jordan shoe to bring back memories of Jordan’s time in the “Windy City.”
In celebration of the Jordan 6 “Toro Bravo,” and all the other great, all-red Jordan colorways that have lit up timelines and made necks break over the years, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite colorways inspired by the fiery red theme.
In no particular order, these are some of the best all-red Air Jordans available at Stadium Goods.
Based on the Air Jordan 5 “Raging Bull” and Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo,” the Air Jordan 6 “Toro Bravo” features an all-red-everything suede construction that isn’t the least bit subtle. I don’t know about you, but I can’t stop imagining what Jordan would have looked like wearing something as in-your-face as the Jordan 6 “Toro Bravo” with the Bulls back in the day.
As we just mentioned, the Jordan 5 “Raging Bull” debuted in 2009’s “Defining Moments Pack” that saluted Michael Jordan’s time with the Chicago Bulls. With “23” on the lateral heel counter, shark tooth detailing on the midsole, and a reflective tongue, it’s almost like the “Raging Bull” could have been an original colorway of the model—all of those design features were on the Player Exclusive Jordan 5 that Mike wore with the Bulls.
The Air Jordan 11 “Win Like ‘96” lit up Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2017 release cycle with its fiery red upper that, again, showed love to Mike’s time with the Bulls. Specifically, the “Win Like ‘96” is dedicated to the Bulls’ historic ‘96 NBA Championship. Much like the “Raging Bull,” there’s a good chance that if the NBA had implemented a more lax team uniform policy in the ‘90s, we would have been treated to an all-red Jordan 11 like the “Win Like ‘96” actually in 1996.
As with every all-red Air Jordan sneaker, it isn’t hard to imagine the Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” being an original colorway from Jordan’s playing days with the Bulls. In fact, there’s a good chance that Nike could have already had the shoe drawn up way back when, but ultimately decided against releasing it due to the NBA’s hardcore team uniform policy as it related to player’s sneakers at the time. Regardless, the Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” is a classic.
How wasn’t the Air Jordan 3 “Red Cement” one of the model’s original colorways? With classic “Nike Air” on the back, not to mention the Jordan 3’s iconic elephant print detailing, the “Red Cement” looks thoroughly “OG.” We fully realize that this is the third time we’ve made this argument for an all-red Jordan, but c’mon, the color blocking just works.
The design of the Air Jordan 14 was originally modeled after Michael Jordan’s red Ferrari 550 Maranello, so it’s highly appropriate for there to be not one, but two snazzy all-red Jordan 14 in the model’s lineup. What’s the other? The buttery red suede “Ferrari,” one of the flashiest Jordans ever produced. Do you see that chrome and carbon fiber trim on the midsole? Sheesh.
Fully dipped in red, the Air Jordan 12 “Gym Red” was released a few years after the “all-red-everything” sneaker craze’s peak, but is nonetheless a great shoe. Monochromatic shoes reel you in with their singularities, and the “Gym Red” is no different. Metallic Red accents the top eyelets and the Jumpman logo above the midsole; the model’s signature faux lizard leather mudguard is smoothed out; and the tongue is particularly soft in the same tumbled leather that appears on the upper.
Women’s Air Jordan 8 “Valentine’s Day”
With all this talk of all-red Air Jordans, we couldn’t not mention the Women’s Air Jordan 8 “Valentine’s Day.” This romantic look for the eight signature shoe of “His Airness” has a plush red suede construction with two red heart-shaped chenille patches around the Jumpman branding on each tongue. JB even slid in “Loves Me…” “Loves Me Not” text under the cross straps on top of the shoe.
