Sneaker Shopping with Complex is back. This week, the celebrity interview show hosted by Joe La Puma kicks off its 10th season by visiting Stadium Goods with a very special guest in tow: Colombian recording artist J Balvin.

No stranger to the sneaker game, J Balvin became the first Latinx artist to have an official collaboration with Jordan Brand when his bold Air Jordan 1 High OG “Colores y Vibras” debuted in December 2020. The songwriter and producer has appeared on another popular sneaker show within the last 12 months, SoleCollector’s Full Size Run, so his bonafides as an avid and studied sneaker collector are legit.

As J Balvin told La Puma during filming of Sneaker Shopping, “During quarantine, I went back and got into the 1985 Air Jordan 1. I had a lot of time on my hands!” Moreover, J doubled down on his Nike SB Dunk collection, adding Stussy’s legendary “Cherry” collaboration to his closet during his time off from touring.

The man clearly knows great sneakers when he sees them.

Watch the full episode of J Balvin’s time on Sneaker Shopping with Complex below to catch his thoughts on his Air Jordan 1 colorway, what’s next with Jordan Brand, and Bad Bunny’s adidas Forum collaboration, and more.

All of his purchases are available now at StadiumGoods.com.
