The Converse Pro Leather “BHM 2020” is part of a Nike and Converse collection of sneakers refashioned in rich colorways that celebrate the cultural vibrancy of Black History Month. Released in February 2020, this Black History Month vibe of Julius Erving’s former shoe with Converse arrives in a mostly olive green monochromatic look that is offset by purple shoelaces and multicolor “BHM” embroidery on the green canvas tongue. Converse’s signature star motif is arranged in hairy dark green suede on either side for a decidedly retro look. The previously mentioned green panels appear in a patchwork-like pattern on the lateral side of the upper, while mesh highlights the look of the medial side of each shoe. Glossy silver overlays with tonal embossed Converse detailing can be found on the heel. A cream colored rubber sole completes the look of this “Black History Month” rendering of the Converse Pro Leather. Release date: February 19, 2020.
