adidas has seen increased success in their lifestyle offerings the past few years – a testament to the company creating better products and how we'll they've aligned themselves with artists and influencers.
One of the earlier examples of the latter was in their work with G.O.O.D. Music's Pusha T (an affiliate of both Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, each sponsored by the Three Stripes). The collaboration birthed the adidas Originals EQT Running Guidance '93 "King Push," a sneaker that's as dedicated to performance as it's on-brand with the Virginia wordsmith's street savvy lyricism.
From a design standpoint, the shoe is pristine, as it dons a monochromatic colorway with glorious details to match. The upper features cracked leather with cloth on the Three Stripes. But perhaps the most impressive part of the EQT is the heel, which dons a fish scale look.
