We're proud to announce our next step in providing the world with the most premium sneaker-buying experience. Stadium Goods has teamed with the world's premier auction house, Sotheby's, to curate a collection of 100 of the rarest and most coveted sneakers on the planet. Arguably the greatest collection of sneakers ever amassed, the incredible auction includes both versions of the Nike Mag, rare friends and family pairs of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 in unreleased colorways, and every Off-White x Nike model from "The Ten" collection, just to name a few. The headliner of the entire lot is a priceless pair of the Nike "Moon Shoe" from 1972, a handmade prototype of the running shoe that was the first model to utilize the brand's waffle rubber outsole designed by Nike co-founder and Oregon track coach legend Bill Bowerman.
The auction opens today, July 11, 2019, and closes on July 23. The entire collection is on display at the Sotheby's New York City showroom (1334 York Ave.), which can be previewed in the images here. The display is open to the public during Sotheby's New York's normal business hours, Monday through Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 1-5pm.
